Russ is President and Co-founder of Research Collective, a healthcare Human Factors Engineering Consultancy based in Tempe, AZ. He is also Professor Emeritus of Human Systems Engineering at Arizona State University, and Visiting Professor of Human Factors Engineering at Northwestern University. He is also co-author of the popular textbook, "Humanizing Healthcare - Human Factors for Medical Device Design" published by Springer-Nature.
