HFTH and COVID-19 Webinar

Moderators: Sarah Fouquet, PhD, and Brandan Kennedy, MD

Presenters: Yin Shanqin, PhD, and Laura Barg-Walkow, PhD

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, HFTH will host our first webinar to allow information sharing between the Human Factors community and healthcare professionals. Our vision is to facilitate collaboration and move closer to creating practical solutions using HF knowledge in order to effectively assist institutions in the COVID-19 crisis.

On Thursday March 26th from 10:00am - 11:30am (CST) we invite all HFTH members to call into the Webinar event. We will hear from Yin Shanqing, PhD, Assistant Director, Human Factors & Systems Design at KK Women's & Children's Hospital in Singapore and Laura Barg-Walkow, PhD, Human Factors Engineer at Children’s Hospital Colorado. They will lead a discussion about  their individual experiences as international and national HF practitioners, and the influence of culture surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please join us to hear about their experience and to share your own. It is our hope that people can connect with one other and enhance their work in combating COVID-19.
